Wellness exams and preventative care
At The Cat & Bird Clinic, routine wellness exams are the foundation of a long, healthy life for your pet. Because cats and birds naturally hide signs of illness, regular checkups allow us to detect subtle health changes before they become serious. During these thorough, unhurried visits, we perform a comprehensive physical exam, discuss nutrition and behavior, and tailor preventative care—such as vaccinations, parasite protection, dental care, and species-specific screenings—to your pet’s unique life style and stage.
Urgent care exam/Illness exam
When your pet isn't feeling well, prompt and accurate medical attention is essential. Our focused illness exams are designed to uncover the root cause of your pet’s symptoms using advanced diagnostics in a low-stress, dog-free environment. Whether your cat is acting lethargic or your bird shows subtle changes in behavior or appetite, our dedicated team takes the time needed to evaluate your pet carefully and craft a gentle, effective treatment plan.
Diagnostics
Our in house laboratory, ultrasound and digital x-ray system combined with our knowledgable staff enables us to provide your cat or bird with the best diagnostics and treatment plan available.
Avian diagnostics
We offer a wide array of avian diagnostics such as DNA sexing, x-rays, coelomic ("abdomen") ultrasounds and avian echocardiograms in order to help make a diagnosis and create a treatment plan appropriate for your bird.
Avian grooming
We offer nail, beak and wing trims for your feathered friends with either our veterinary technicians or our veterinarians.
Avian boarding
Small to medium-sized birds, and based on availability.
End of Life & Hospice Care
As a member of the International Association of Animal Hospice and Palliative Care, we work with pet parents to navigate the end-of-life journey, help keep your pets comfortable during this time, and address how we can create a peaceful transition for them.
