Christine Sellers, DVM
Dr. Sellers, a Santa Barbara native,
completed her undergraduate degrees in
Zoology and Nutrition as well as her Doctorate
of Veterinary Medicine at U.C. Davis in 1991. As
there was no emphasis on avian medicine at
U.C. Davis in 1991, Dr. Sellers designed her
own Pet Bird Medical track where she spent
her senior year traveling throughout California
interning with avian specialists and poultry
facilities. Dr. Sellers has been actively involved
in avian medicine since 1983. She was also
very active in Feline medicine while in school,
co-founding the Feline Medicine Club for the
U.C. Davis Veterinary School.
Before purchasing the Cat Clinic
in 1992, Dr. Sellers worked at the
practice from 1985-1991 as an
Animal Health Technician for Dr.
Bonnie Carl.
Associate Memberships:
Dr. Sellers is involved in many
abreast of the most current abreast of the most current
medical breakthroughs.
Memberships include AVMA,
AAV & CVMA.
Dr. Sellers also serves on the
board of directors for the Santa
Barbara Wildlife Care Network.

Anja (Crosby) Hunter, DVM
Dr. Hunter graduated from Santa Barbara
High School in 1986 and obtained her
bachelors degree in Zoology from Oregon State
University in 1991. From there she then went
on to graduate from Ross Veterinary University
in 1996. Once finished she completed additional
training through the Professional Veterinary
Homeopathic Course in 1999 and completed
the International Veterinary Acupuncture
Course in 2002.
Many Santa Barbara pet owners may
remember Dr. Hunter from the 90's when she
did relief work at various Santa Barbara
Veterinary and Emergency hospitals for six
years. She has now returned to her home after living in Idaho for the past
five years. Dr. Hunter is excited to be able to raise her two daughters in
Santa Barbara where friends and family are near. The Cat & Bird Clinic is
happy to have her as part of our team.
